February 4, 2006 - Having lots of fun rehearsing and playing out with Turning Point. We've had the opportunity to participate in worship services at both the First Church of Christ in Wethersfield and at the First Congregational Church in Cromwell. Both have been a real blessing to me and I think for those attending. You can check out the pictures and catch a glimpse of the band. The young boy in the picture is a special young man who has a real heart for God and joined us as we sang "Shout to the Lord." He shared his testimony to the congregational and how he has battled cancer over the past year. . .he is a real inspiration and we continue to lift him up in prayer. . .his name is Ben.
January 5, 2006 Shared in the ministry of a band called Turning Point last night at a contemporary worship service at a wonderful church in Wethersfield, First Church of Christ. God is so good. . .all the time. Being part of Turning Point has been a true answer to my prayers. . .the members are all excellent musicians. . .and even better, true Christians who love the Lord and seek to serve Him. I just wanted to share this with you. . .because there have been many times when the devil has tried to convince me to stop pursuing my music dreams. . .oh, there are all kinds of reasons why. . .first, I'm not getting any younger. . .second, it's seems really hard to succeed in the music venue (whatever success is). . .third, I can get very lazy.. fourth, I needed to find musicians that wanted to develop a ministry and that just wasn't happening. And the list goes on. Well, I want to encourage you to not listen to the devil but put your trust in the Savior. He knows your desires and He wants you to experience Him in your quest to serve others and pursue your dreams. I look forward to sharing more with you about the road Turning Point will be traveling. AND. . .the CD should be released very soon!!!!!! I'll certainly keep you posted. God bless!
7/2005: The trip to Bolivia was marvelous and the people we worked with and shared our hearts with were sweet. Faces of so many are etched in my mind and it is my fervent prayer that I will have the opportunity to go back to Sucre and reconnect with our brothers and sisters in Christ who are working very hard there. Enjoy the pictures that I've posted for you!

6/2005: My daughter, Samantha, and I along with eight other members from our church are preparing for a short-term missions trip to Bolivia where we will assist in the construction of a second level on a church just outside of Sucre. We are only a few weeks away from our departure and we are praying that the political unrest remains relatively calm. We have been preparing for this trip over the last six months and it has been exciting to see how God has been working in our hearts and around us. . .so many details have miraculously worked out! HE is in control! Please keep us in your prayers. . .I'll be sharing the highlights from this trip with you shortly after we return. . .and I'll be sure to include pictures!
